Silhouette Stanley Park, acrylic on canvas, 36”x24”

This was a found image that a Vancouverite took while walking the park at dusk. The black is very chromatic and I found much interest in the spatial position in relation to the black colour temperature. I like working with silhouettes if only for a childhood fondness for photism. With little effort, the shadows should become anthropomorphic, in a lyrical non-threatening way.
