Maple Fall East 6th Ave, acrylic on canvas, 50 ”x36”

I found this sight outside my apartment the Fall of 2008. These trees definitely struck me with light and colour in the way I was forced to take a picture before carrying on my day. It was only a cell phone camera, and without an effort to deliberately show pixels, it sort of looks that way anyway. Paint can very easily be a metaphor for a pixel and vise versa. Anyway, I won’t be disappointed for summer to end this year. There will be so many colours.
